Our membership is intergenerational and open to those that have been impacted by violence and the criminal injustice system. Our main membership is for young people aged 13 - 25, who can access our 1:1 support, group support, advocacy, training and opportunities. Our 25+ members can access training, opportunities and member only resources.
We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team and support our work. If you would like to volunteer with The 4Front Project as a paralegal, mentor, workshop facilitator, creative or help with our admin and communications, then we want to hear from you.
We need lawyers, therapists, holistic wellness practitioners, activists, elders, and more to contribute to our powerful youth movement. If you think that your professional skills can support us through advice and action then please become an ally.
We exist to amplify voices of those who have been affected by violence and the criminal justice system. In 2020, we really want to lift up the following stories. If you believe you are on a gang database, get in touch. If you are a young person without settled status who is facing deportation after imprisonment, get in touch. If you have experienced police brutality, get in touch. If you have experienced violence in prison, get in touch.
We have compiled a collection of videos, articles, book recommendations and reports to help you deepen your understanding about violence, the criminal justice system and the root causes of inequity and harm. We have also developed the Rest In Power resource which lifts up the lives of those we have lost to police and violence. 4FRONT Voices uplifts the voices of our members who are affected by violence and the criminal justice system - in their own words.
There are many ways that you can help to grow and sustain our movement. We need resources, we need platforms, we need allies, we need opportunities, we need skills, we need creativity, we need love. Look at how some of our supporters have helped below.
