FIGHT
FOR
OUR
RIGHTS
The 4Front Project is a member-led youth organisation empowering young people and communities
to fight for justice, peace and freedom.

We support members with experiences of violence
and the criminal justice system to create change;
in their own lives, communities and society.
80K
people are in prisons and YOIs in England & Wales. This is the highest per capita prison population in Western Europe.
28%
of young people in custody in England & Wales are Black (Mar 19). This percentage has more than doubled since March 2006.
1774
people have died in police custody or following
police contact
in England & Wales since
1990.
20%
of child homicide
victims in England & Wales are Black. Therefore, the risk of homicide for Black children is disproportionate.
Racial inequity drives violence.
The criminal justice system drives violence. Unaccountability drives violence.

We are building a powerful youth-led movement to transform the way peace and justice are understood by centring healing rather than punishment.
ABOUT
4FRONT
Young people with experiences of violence and the criminal justice system require holistic support to thrive. We have pioneered a unique approach that empowers those most directly harmed by violence and the criminal justice system to be at the forefront of a grassroots movement for change.
ABOUT
OUR WORK
Our work centres transformative justice and healing whilst directly challenging the UK’s addiction to criminalisation, policing and prisons. We are transforming the way in which society understands how to support communities affected by violence and shaping the agenda around how to address the systemic causes of it.
FREEDOM IS NO FEAR.
We have the right to safety.
We have the right to opportunity.
We have the right to thrive.
Help us fight for our freedom!
