We are excited to advertise several new positions, including a Head of Operations, a Campaigns & Communications Coordinator, a Youth Support Worker and a Legal Support Worker. If you have a strong understanding of the impact of the violence, racial inequity and systemic injustice on marginalised communities and are passionate about empowering those most affected to create a change, then we can’t wait to hear from you! Head of Operations (4FP200)

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Head of Operations to drive our vision forward. This new, varied and exciting role combines strategic planning with operational management, including responsibility for organisational strategy, partnerships, fundraising, HR and communications. This role deputises for the Executive Director and is integral in supporting the continuous improvement of the organisational infrastructure, ensuring robust governance, risk management, compliance and long-term financial planning. You will work as part of a small, driven and committed team and be the logistical 'go-to' person. You will be responsible for ensuring that the core functions of the organisation meet our strategic objectives and values. You will sustain funding so that young people and our entire community can grow with the support of healing, imaginative, and liberating relationships. You will be a visionary leader, seeing your work at The 4Front Project as a crucial part of your identity and purpose in life. You will be committed to upholding our vision, mission, principles and values at all times. You will be bold, actively contributing to a workplace culture that centres justice, healing, change and hope. This role demands a high level of flexibility, initiative and dedication. You will play a fundamental role in shaping The 4Front Project into the future.

Campaigns and Communications Coordinator (4FP201)

We are looking for a formidable Campaigns and Communications Coordinator to develop our transformative campaigning work and support young change makers to take the lead. You care deeply about revolutionising society and are personally invested in fighting for justice and equity. You can hold emotion and know how to create safe spaces for people to explore their experiences and build their sense of identity. You have experience working on campaigns that transform policy. You are well networked, already a part of groups that are tackling social justice issues and keen to actively research and network with other organisations that will become our partners and allies. You understand the power of effective communication to change minds and have interesting and unique ideas about how to get a message across. You have worked or volunteered as a mentor and you’re dedicated to tackling social justice issues. You are comfortable with conflict and have experience of managing difficult conversations to successful resolutions. You see courage in vulnerability and believe in building the resilience of young people. Most importantly, you are committed to peace and you fundamentally believe in the potential to change, both at an individual and societal level. You will be a visionary leader, seeing your work at The 4Front Project as a crucial part of your identity and purpose in life. You will be committed to upholding our vision, mission, principles and values at all times. You will be bold, actively contributing to a workplace culture that centres justice, healing, change and hope. Youth Support Worker (4FP202)

We are looking for an engaging and inspiring Youth Support Worker to provide outstanding support to 4Front members. You love creating safe and supportive spaces for people to explore their challenging life experiences. You are excited about challenging people to think critically about themselves, their communities and society and you enjoy supporting people to explore and build their identity. You care deeply about people and are willing to go the extra mile. You are skilled at creating space to express emotion and you can effectively hold emotion for others. You are not afraid to bear witness to people’s pain and you have a contagious positive energy that uplifts people. You understand the emotional impact of injustice and inequity on marginalised young people and are committed to helping them make sense of their emotions. You are dedicated to developing a thorough understanding of social injustice and actively addressing it. You are comfortable with conflict and have proven experience of managing difficult situations to successful resolutions. You see courage in vulnerability and believe in building the resilience of young people. Most importantly, you are committed to peace and you fundamentally believe in the potential to change, both at an individual and societal level. You will be a visionary leader, seeing your work at The 4Front Project as a crucial part of your identity and purpose in life. You will be committed to upholding our vision, mission, principles and values at all times. Legal Support Worker (4FP203)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Legal Support Worker to hold the state to account and empower 4Front members to fight for their rights and challenge discrimination and misconduct in the criminal justice system. This new role combines a range of skills including supporting 4Front members, liaising with lawyers, youth advocacy, developing legal access and administration. No legal qualifications are required and legal experience is desirable but not essential. You will support 4Front members to explore civil and criminal remedies for police and prosecution failings and misconduct and holding the state to account. You care deeply about justice, equity, and people and are willing to go the extra mile. You are an excellent communicator. You are incredibly organised and skilled at managing, processing and prioritising information. You understand the emotional impact of injustice and inequity on marginalised young people and are committed to helping them access accountability and closure. You are dedicated to developing a thorough understanding of social injustice and actively addressing it. You see courage in vulnerability and believe in building the resilience of young people. Most importantly, you are committed to peace and you fundamentally believe in the potential to change, both at an individual and societal level. You will be a visionary leader, seeing your work at The 4Front Project as a crucial part of your identity and purpose in life.
